In 2013, during Earth Week, Audua Pugh had an idea during a conversation with a Hennepin County employee. Audua remembered that her husband, Michael Pugh could draw. She called him and explained her concept.
When she arrived home, Michael had transformed that idea into a drawing. Audua looked at the drawing and said, "Rusty!"
Michael said, "What, Why Rusty?"
Audua said, "Look at him, he's rust-colored, his name is Rusty."
